NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – Two businesses at 1609 Murfreesboro Pike caught fire Friday night.

According to the owner of the business triplex, Linda Norton, a person at the flower shop noticed smoke and contacted her shortly before 8 p.m.

Norton then called firefighters and drove from her Smyrna home to the businesses.

The flower shop and the Philam Market & Liquidation Store next door caught fire. A third business in the triplex, a liquor store, was not affected.

No one was injured and it was not immediately clear how much damage the blaze caused to the building.

Norton told News 2 the building has been in her family since 1966, when her father built it.
