2.0 magnitude earthquake recorded south of Knoxville Saturday morning


NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – Did you feel it? A small earthquake was recorded early Saturday morning near South Knoxville.

According to the United States Geological Survey, a 2.0 magnitude earthquake was recorded 6.2 miles south-southeast of Knoxville around 3:50 a.m. Monday.

The quake was recorded at a depth of 15 kilometers.
