1 shot in Hendersonville Waffle House parking lot

A man is recovering after he was shot during an altercation in the parking lot of a Waffle House in Hendersonville on Saturday night. 

According to Hendersonville Police, the incident happened around 9 p.m. at the Waffle House at 1090 West Main Street. 

One person was shot, and officials say his injuries appear to be non-life-threatening. 

Police are actively working to identify all the people involved in the incident and determine what circumstances led up to the shooting. At this time, police believe the victim and suspects were using the restaurant parking lot as a meeting place. 

The victim’s identity and a description of the suspects have not been released at this time. 

Officials clarified in a release that this incident is in no way related to the tragic killing of five people in Westmoreland, Tenn. the same evening
