Man killed after crash involving school bus in Dickson County

DICKSON COUNTY, Tenn. (WKRN) — A 33-year-old man was killed when his SUV collided with a school bus in Dickson County Monday morning.

Dickson County Sheriff Tim Eads said the crash happened around 6:30 a.m. on Bowker Road near Highway 49.

The Tennessee Highway Patrol said 33-year-old Jon Livezey crossed over the center line, while driving an SUV southbound on Bowker Road, striking a Dickson County school bus traveling northbound, as both vehicles rounded a curve.

Livezey was pronounced dead as a result of his injuries, according to a crash report.

No injuries were reported onboard the school bus.

The crash remains under investigation.
