At least one suspect has been arrested in connection with an armed robbery Sunday at a cell phone store in South Nashville.

Metro police responded around 6 p.m. to the T-Mobile store on Murfreesboro Pike near I-24 for a silent panic hold up alarm.

When officers arrived at the store, employees explained that multiple people entered the store, took out handguns and demanded money and iPhones.

The suspects got away with $1296 and 10 iPhones valued at more than $8,900, police said.

According to investigators, at least one of the stolen phones was tracked to a location on Harding Place near I-65.

Officers responded to that location and said they found Abdulaziz Payziev and Allen Newson inside of a Toyota Prius where a bag of the stolen phones was at Newson’s feet.

Newson was charged with theft of property.

Police have not said if Payziev has been located.
