Nashville Zoo Nursery Cam now featuring two caracal kittens! They were born Sunday, October 17th.
In addition to these kittens, the zoo has two breeding pairs and two male caracals, Zane and Samir, that are part of the Animal Ambassador program. While caracals are not considered endangered, their habitats are threatened by human development.
Nashville Zoo said its neonatal rooms at the HCA Healthcare Veterinary Center are now full. They are caring for these two caracals, a Palawan binturong, and a banded palm civet – all born this fall.
