News 2 is celebrating the 4th of July! Join us for our 4th of July Celebration special on Saturday, July 4 from 9 p.m. to 10 p.m.
News 2 will be live from Murfreesboro, and we’ll be bringing you fireworks displays from across Middle Tennessee including Old Hickory, Hendersonville, Gallatin, and Mt. Juliet during the hour.

July 3
Mt. Juliet – 9 p.m. at Cedar Creek Yacht Club at Old Hickory Lake
July 4
Nashville – Hot Chicken Festival (Take-out only) at East Park from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Cookeville – Celebration beginning at 9 p.m. at the Putnam County Fairgrounds
Murfreesboro – Fireworks at 9 p.m. on Medical Center Parkway
Gallatin – Celebration beginning at 9 p.m. at Triple Creek Park
Mt. Juliet – Celebration beginning at 9 p.m. at the Little League Ball Fields on Lebanon Road
Springfield – Fireworks show will take place but J. Travis Park will be closed to the public. Residents encouraged to view the show from their preferred location around the city
