The son of a longtime country radio DJ, TV host and Grand Ole Opry announcer will be laid to rest this weekend.

Mark Bilbrey, son of Keith Bilbrey, died in a single-vehicle accident in Nashville earlier this week as severe weather moved through Middle Tennessee.

Visitation for Bilbrey will be held on Friday from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Belmont United Methodist Church located at 2007 Acklen Avenue.

His funeral will be held at the church at 11 a.m. Saturday.

He is survived by his parents, stepmother, brother and sister-in-law and niece and nephew, among other family members and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks donations be made to the Friends of Radnor Lake, the Tennessee Justice for our Neighbors or a charity of your choice.
