Iconic Bonnaroo arch removed for ‘significant’ structural issues

COFFEE COUNTY, Tenn. (WKRN) — One of the most iconic pieces of imagery from the Bonnaroo Music Festival is now history.

The Bonnaroo arch was burned to the ground and removed intentionally due to significant structural issues, according to festival officials.

The arch was destroyed though a controlled burn Monday morning.

It has taken on different looks over the years and for this year’s festival, there will be something new in its place.

The festival takes place June 13 through June 16 in Manchester the weekend after CMA Fest.
