Sports Anchor/Reporter
Samaria Terry joined the News 2 sports team in October of 2022.
She is a native of Atlanta, Ga., and a 2015 graduate of Auburn University with a degree in Journalism. She originally went to Auburn as a Physics major, but quickly moved to Journalism, an interest she got from her mother who has a degree in Communications.
Her parents also told her she likes to talk, so why not get paid for it!
Samaria comes to Nashville from WREG in Memphis. She also spent two years both at WJTV in Jackson, Mississippi, and at KFDX in Wichita Falls, Texas.
In her spare time, she likes to read, watch her favorite TV shows, and cheer on her Auburn Tigers…War Eagle! She already feels right at home here in the Music City!
