Traffic Anchor & Meteorologist
Marcus Bagwell is thrilled to be back home and serve the residents of Middle Tennessee & Southern Kentucky. He is the Traffic Anchor for Good Morning Nashville and a fill-in Meteorologist.
As a child, Marcus would stay up late into the night to watch severe weather coverage. This love for weather became a reality when the Nashville tornadoes of April 1998 ripped through. Marcus kept that desire for weather and went on to hold a Bachelor of Science degree in meteorology and broadcasting minor from Western Kentucky University.
Marcus is married to his beautiful bride, Cassie. They have a daughter, Anaya, and son, Marcus III (Little Marcus).
When Marcus is not on-air, you can find him staying active in our community. He loves making visits to public events and schools to educate about weather and safety.
