Kendall joined the News 2 team in June of 2022 and can be seen reporting weekdays during the 4-6 PM newscasts.
Before landing a job in Music City, Kendall spent the last three years as a reporter and fill-in anchor in Fayetteville, Arkansas at the ABC affiliate 40/29 News. During her time in Fayetteville, Kendall reported on severe weather throughout Northwest Arkansas and the River Valley, the federal Josh Duggar child pornography trial, and the impact COVID-19 had on the most vulnerable communities.
Kendall fell in love with broadcasting early on as a senior in high school. She learned the impact a story has on a community after she produced a story in her television production workshop class on a group of high school boys that shaved their hair for a friend battling leukemia. Kendall then went off to Michigan State University where she received her bachelor’s degree in Broadcast Journalism. During her time at MSU, Kendall immersed herself in the Broadcast program, Focal Point News. She won a Michigan student Emmy on a breaking news piece and spent a summer interning in Dublin, Ireland for a daily live talk show.
Kendall has always loved country music and now she is exactly halfway between Fayetteville, Arkansas, and her home near the suburbs of Detroit, Michigan.
