Sports Director
Cory Curtis enjoyed working in Nashville so much he’s back for a second stint with News 2. He’s back after working for a year as Sports Director at WTKR in Norfolk, Virginia.
Cory first came to News 2 in 2003 and earned six Regional Emmy awards for his roles in Sports Extra and Monday Night Live with Jeff Fisher. What does he enjoy most about his job in Music City? That’s easy, telling stories (compelling & rich) about interesting people and covering the National Football League.
When Cory’s not covering sports in Middle Tennessee he and his wife Rachel enjoy running, biking, swimming, hiking and just getting outside. They currently reside in Franklin with their 2 boys Joxer The Mighty and The Notorious Mr. Jinx (yes, they’re cats).
