Brooke Reese joined the News 2 Team in October 2019 as a multimedia journalist.
Brooke moved to Music City from her hometown of Salisbury, Maryland. After graduating from Salisbury University in 2017, Brooke started her career reporting on the Delmarva peninsula at WBOC-16.
During her time in Maryland, Brooke covered everything from impacts on the local seafood and poultry industries to understaffing concerns at the local prison. But the most rewarding story was covering a Christmas parade for a young boy struggling with cancer, for which she won an Associated Press Award.
Brooke writes, shoots, and edits all of her stories. She hopes to make a difference in Middle Tennessee through her reporting.
While she misses living near the beach tremendously, Brooke is bringing her tenacious and energetic spirit to Nashville.
When she’s not working you can probably catch her exploring the local boutiques, listening to country music, or attending sports games.
