Allie Lynch joined the WKRN News 2 team in December 2021 as an Alert Desk Anchor and Reporter. Allie previously spent three years in Fayetteville, Arkansas where she was a Weekend Anchor and Reporter. During her time covering stories in Arkansas and Oklahoma, Allie reported on deadly tornadoes, historic flooding along the Arkansas River, and the legislation of medical marijuana in the Natural State. Allie’s stories even reached national news, including an impaired VA pathologist who misdiagnosed thousands of patients and a former Arkansas State Senator convicted of a kickback scheme during his term.

Allie graduated from the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville (Woo Pig Sooie) receiving her Bachelor’s degree in Broadcast Journalism. Although Allie attended college in the south, she spent much of her life in New Jersey. Moving to Nashville is a dream come true and she is thankful to call Music City her home!

When she’s not on the job, Allie enjoys playing tennis, spending time with friends and family, cheering on her sports teams, and being involved in the community!
