Country singer Mindy McCready and baseball star Roger Clemens had a decade-long relationship, the New York Daily News reported Monday.

Clemens' attorney confirmed the relationship but said it was not sexual and his client considers McCready a "close family friend."

The relationship allegedly began when Clemens was 28-years-old and a pitching ace for the Boston Red Socks.

McCready was just 15-years-old.
