Julie Kroenig wakes you up each weekday on News 2 This Morning. From 4 a.m. to 7 a.m., she and Neil Orne get you caught up on all of the news you have missed overnight.
Julie moved to Nashville and joined the News 2 team in January 2007. She moved here from Wheeling, West Virginia where she anchored the evening newscasts at WTRF. Julie has also worked in Charleston/Huntington, West Virginia and Columbia, Missouri.
The St. Louis native attended the University of Missouri School of Journalism, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude with a degree in journalism and a double minor in history and sociology.
After work, Julie enjoys working out and running. She ran the Country Music Marathon in April 2008.
She also volunteers each week at Preston Taylor Ministries, which is an after-school program in the Preston Taylor public housing area.
Julie and her husband live in downtown Nashville. They have one son, Langston.
