Tiani Jones comes to News 2 as a reporter and fill-in anchor with more than 10 years of journalism experience in both print and television news.
She's worked throughout the country including Lexington Kentucky, Dallas Texas, and in Jacksonville Florida where she covered two of the worst hurricane seasons to ever hit the state.
In the spring of 2007 Tiani was one of six journalists from throughout the country to be awarded a journalism fellowship with the East West Center out of the University of Hawaii. During the fellowship she studied and traveled throughout Singapore and Taiwan. In Taiwan she had the opportunity to sit down with the country's president.
Although she was born in North Texas, home is Colorado where Tiani grew up skiing on the slopes of the Rocky Mountains.
In her spare time, she enjoys weekend trips to her alma mater, The University of Miami to watch Hurricane Football.
