To the surprise of some, Chris Bundgaard has managed to last more than 20 years in television news. He's worked as a reporter, producer and assignment editor. Once in a while the Minnesota native did all three at the same time.
In recent years he has happily returned to what will always be the heart of this business: "the street." During that time he has been honored for reporting, writing and producing, including two Edward R. Murrow regional awards and two Emmys.
Previous stops in Corpus Christi, Salt Lake City and the Twin Cities added a Spanish, Mormon and Lake Wobegone influence to his resume.
Chris studied psychology at St. Olaf College, then developed a latent interest in journalism during graduate school at the University of Minnesota. That interest still grows.
