BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (AP) - Police say at least 40 rounds were fired during a gun battle outside a Birmingham motorcycle club that killed two people and wounded two others.
Birmingham police said the shooting happened shortly after 10 p.m. Sunday, outside the Showstoppers Motorcycle Club on Coosa Street.
Police say the dispute stemmed from an argument between members of two separate motorcycle clubs.
Birmingham police Lt. Sean Edwards said Monday afternoon that detectives were not getting cooperation from potential witnesses who were in the area at the time. No arrests had been made.
Police say several people fire shots during the gunfight, leaving the two people who died with wounds to their chests and backs.
Edwards said the two people who were wounded are both expected to survive.
