Cafeteria staff needed due to high demand for Metro Schools meal program

NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Metro Nashville Public Schools say participation in their free meals program is way up and they are serving thousands more meals than last year.

The demand is so high Metro is looking to hire more cafeteria staff, according to Joe Bass, Communication Specialist.

They are hosting a Nutrition Services job fair Tuesday from 9 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. at the Martin Center, located at 2400 Fairfax Avenue in Hillsboro Village.

Metro says they are looking for cashiers, assistants and cafeteria managers.

Interviews and cashier's tests will be given on the spot.
