Shots fired at 3 homes in north Nashville

NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Police are investigating reports of shots being fired at three homes in north Nashville early Thursday morning.

There were two adults and eight children in a home in the 3500 block of Chesapeake Drive when the first shooting took place.

Officers found seven bullet holes in the home, though no shells casings were located at the scene.

Minutes later, a second home was shot up in the 3200 block of Moorewood Drive.  Three bullet holes were found outside with one bullet traveling into the home.

The third home is located in the 1000 block of Seymour Avenue. A man was sleeping at the time of the shooting.

Seven bullet holes were found on the home and seven shell casings were located outside.

No one was injured. There was no immediate word on suspects.
