NASHVILLE, Tenn. -

Metro police arrested a hospital worker Saturday for sexual battery on a patient at TriStar Skyline Medical Center.

Police told News 2 the alleged incident happened July 2 while the victim was getting a CT scan for a seizure.

According to an affidavit, while in the scanner, the victim felt Wright, a CT technician at the hospital, take her hand and force it down his pants.

He reportedly laughed when the victim asked him what he was doing.

Wright is accused of later showing her a picture of his private area on his phone.

The 37-year-old victim called police when she returned home.

Wright, 36, of Goodlettsville, was arrested Saturday morning after a warrant was issued for his arrest Friday.

He was charged with sexual battery and booked into the Metro jail. He has since been released on $5,000 bond.

During the investigation, Wright told police that he went to high school with the victim.  She told police she does not remember him.

Stephanie Bowen, a spokesperson for TriStar Skyline Medical Center, told News 2 Wright has been suspended from the hospital.

“The health, safety and welfare of our patients is always a top priority and abuse of any kind will not be tolerated,” Brown said in a statement. “When we were made aware of this disturbing allegation, we immediately suspended the employee and began our own internal review. In addition, we are assisting authorities with their investigation.”

When word of Wright’s arrest got out, a person who identified herself as a Skyline co-worker of Wright's told News 2 "most people here are having hard time believing these allegations."
