MANCHESTER, Tenn. -

The Coffee County Sheriff’s Department says a missing mother from Manchester surfaced this weekend unharmed Denver in Colorado and is on her way home by bus according to the woman's mother.

Brooke Roberts, 30, went missing on Monday, July 21. She was last seen at the Harper’s Point Apartments in Murfreesboro where she worked as a leasing agent. Her car and cell phone were found in the parking lot of a nearby greenway.

Roberts, who lives in Manchester with her mother, stepfather and 8-year-old daughter, is believed to have left Tennessee with Noah Bodwell, a resident at Harper’s Point.

She was found alone in Denver, Colorado. Bodwell’s whereabouts remain unknown.

Coffee County investigator Jason Dendy told News 2 he spoke with Roberts Sunday evening and said she “was never held against her will.”

He did not have information on Bodwell, but told News 2 he spoke with Roberts and is now on her way.

The investigator said he did not know how she was getting back to Tennessee.

According to a Facebook post Sunday morning by Roberts’ mother, Brenda Ginnett, her daughter was “left behind.”

“We should see her today or tomorrow as we don't know how she is getting to Manchester… She has no ID, etc. PD is handling it,” she wrote Sunday morning.

By phone Monday morning, Ginnett told News 2 she believes her daughter will be home by evening.

“She was never under any duress,” she said, reiterating what police believe. “We spoke a couple of times late Sunday night when she borrowed a cell phone from a stranger.”

Ginnett said she did not have any more information about how her daughter got to Denver, but she believes  the police department helped get her to a bus station for the ride back to Tennessee.

Murfreesboro police said Roberts and Bodwell were spotted at a casino in New Orleans before Roberts was located.

Investigators said no charges are expected to be filed in the case.
