9 arrested on drug charges after police receive tip
NASHVILLE, Tenn. -
A citizen’s tip about illegal drug activity led to Thursday’s arrest of nine people on drug charges.
While searching the home located in the 800 block of 32nd Avenue, police recovered one pound of marijuana, small amounts of heroin and cocaine, a handgun, to vehicles and $37,500 in cash.
Residents James Townsend and Latoria Marlow, as well as Senyatta Brown, Abraham Toms, Christopher Wade, Mykel Huff, Dartanion Dayton, Joshua Dyer and Kevin Frierson are all charged with felony drug possession.
Townsend and Marlow are also charged with felony weapon possession after a handgun was recovered from a bedroom air vent.
