NASHVILLE, Tenn. -

Construction projects will slow traffic on several major thoroughfares across Middle Tennessee this weekend.

North of Nashville in the Rivergate/Goodlettsville area, there will be daily lane closures from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. through next Wednesday, July 23.

Crews are working on the bridges over the CSX Railroad tracks and Rivergate Parkway.

West of Nashville, at the Davidson-Cheatham county line just west of McCrory Lane, Interstate 40 will be reduced to one lane in both directions.

Crews are making repairs to the bridge over the Harpeth River.

To the southeast of Nashville, along Interstate 24 between mile markers 57 and 85 and along State Route 840 between mile markers 48 and 57, motorists should expect temporary lane closures.

And in Williamson County, a road-widening project will result in rolling roadblocks on Interstate 65 between the Goosecreek Bypass and Peytonsville Road exits.
