GADSDEN, Ala. (AP) - Etowah County Sheriff Todd Entrekin says a Gadsden man arrested for suspected sexual abuse at a home for at-risk boys faces an additional charge after another victim came forward.
Investigators said Friday that 61-year-old Roy Dean Pruett was charged with one count of first-degree sexual abuse.
On Thursday, he was charged with two counts of first-degree sexual abuse of a child less than 12 years old and two counts of first-degree sodomy. All the charges are felonies.
Authorities say Pruett was a former employee at the Eagle Rock Boys Ranch.
Pruett was being held in the Etowah County Detention Center on a $300,000 bond. It wasn't known whether he has an attorney.
The Eagle Rock Boys Ranch said in a statement that it has cooperated fully with the investigation.
