MT. JULIET, Tenn. -

Mt. Juliet police are seeking help in identifying a man who may know the whereabouts of a stolen wallet that contained a lot of cash.

The wallet was lost last Saturday, June, 12 at the Mapco gas station on Lebanon Road.

The victim told investigators he accidentally left his wallet on top of his car and drove off.

When he returned to the gas station the store clerk stated a man came into the store to report he found a wallet in the parking lot but never gave it to the clerk.

The man police are looking for is described as a white male with a beard and in his mid-20s.

On the day the wallet was taken, video surveillance shows him wearing a gray t-shirt with a landscaping company logo and khaki pants. He was seen driving a landscaping-style work truck.

Anyone with information on the man is urged to call Mt. Juliet police at 615-754-2550.
