NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) - Police in Tennessee have found a man in Nashville who had been wanted for questioning in his father's death.
The Tennessean reported with (tnne.ws/1mATPip) that investigators maintained contacted with 29-year-old Clayton Nelson and convinced him to surrender to Nashville police.
Once Nelson was in custody, he was sent back to Jackson where investigators questioned him about the death of his father, 57-year-old Jeffrey Nelson. Jeffrey Nelson died Sunday at his home in Jackson.
Police say Clayton Nelson had his father's black 2001 Infiniti QX4 when he turned himself in. Police say the vehicle was then towed to the Tennessee Bureau Crime Lab in Nashville for a forensic examination.
No charges were filed against Clayton Nelson as of early Monday.
