Woman kidnapped from home shows up at Nashville gas station unharmed

NASHVILLE, Tenn. - A man wanted for allegedly kidnapping his ex-girlfriend from her home and assaulting her friend early Thursday morning before leaving her at a gas station has surrendered.

Christopher Robinson turned himself in to authorities several hours after the 2 a.m. incident occurred at a home on Tusculum Road.

Robinson reportedly forced the woman into his SUV before he left her at an Exxon Station on Brick Church Pike less than an hour later unharmed.

The victim said she had recently broken up with Robinson.

The 31-year-old man is charged with kidnapping and assault.

He remains jailed in lieu of $80,000 bond.
