CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. -

An 11-year-old Clarksville student was nominated to study at a Chicago university by her science teacher.

According to the Clarksville Now, Kiara Cutting will study at Loyola University during a six-day conference this summer.

The conference will include intensive exercises for gifted students who dream to be scientists.

Cutting is an honor roll student who has a perfect attendance record and the highest average in all her major classes at her Clarksville middle school.

Cutting skipped the third grade, and will likely begin early at a full-time college.
