Search ongoing for 2 dogs missing after serious Alabama crash

NASHVILLE, Tenn. -

Volunteers and professional trackers are still searching for a Nashville couple’s dogs more than a week after a serious crash in Alabama.

More than $3,500 has been raised in the effort to find Molly and Claire.

The two dogs were with their owners, Olivia and Seth Hatfield, when they crashed on their way back to Nashville from Dothan, Alabama.

The crash happened on June 29 along Interstate 65 near mile marker 299 in the Dodge City area.

A professional dog trapper and tracker from New Jersey has been hired to search for the pets.

Olivia Hatfield, an algebra teacher at Antioch High School, remains in a coma in a Birmingham hospital.

Anyone interested in helping with the search can call 585-752-1700 or visit the Help Find Molly & Claire! Facebook page.
