CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. -

Clarksville police responded to a carjacking at the Exxon station on Dover Road early Saturday morning.

The victim told police that he was attacked and had his car taken by a white male, mid 30s, wearing a white hat, white shirt, and blue jeans.

The suspect asked for the man’s keys and wallet and began pushing and grabbing the victim starting a fight that led all the way into the gas station.

The suspect was able to get the keys from the man before he jumped over the counter, grabbed the register, and took off in the victim’s vehicle towards Providence Boulevard.

Responding officers found the vehicle wrecked at a location on Locust Drive. The suspect was already gone.

Officers were unable to locate the man but obtained surveillance pictures of him from the gas station.

Anyone who recognizes the suspect should call Clarksville police at 931-645-TIPS (8477).
