Vanderbilt's Tim Corbin named National Coach of the Year

Vanderbilt head coach Tim Corbin has been named National Coach of the Year by Collegiate Baseball.

Corbin led the Vanderbilt Commodores to the school’s first National Championship. The Dores finished with a 51-21 record, the second straight 50-win season for Vanderbilt.

The 2014 season ended with an impressive 10-3 run through the NCAA Tournament complete with a 3-2 win over Virginia to claim the national title.

Corbin took over at Vanderbilt in 2003. He was named Coach of the Year in 2007 by College Baseball Insider.
