NASHVILLE, Tenn. -

Dressed as super heroes, members of a non-profit organization visited children undergoing treatment for cancer and other illnesses at Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt in Nashville Wednesday.

Love Your Melon began as a class project for Zachary Quinn and Brian Keller while studying at the University of St. Thomas.

Today, Love Your Melon provides comfy hats to children battling cancer through its buy-one-give-one-program.

The hats are delivered to hospitals across the U.S. by college students dressed up as super heroes.

The students also host special Love Your Melon adventures where children in treatment can get out and have fun.
