BIRMINGHAM, Ala. -

Caleb Bankston, a former Survivor contestant, died in a railway accident on Tuesday in Birmingham.

Bankston, 26, worked at the Alabama Warrior Railway, but took time off to compete on "Survivor: Blood vs. Water" in 2013.

Although details of the accident are not yet available, it’s been confirmed that Bankston was at work at the time of the incident.

The company that owns Alabama Warrior Railway is planning to offer counseling services to Bankston’s co-workers.

The railway is also not allowing workers to return until the proper safety checks have been made.

Many of Bankston’s former cast mates have taken to social media to salute his memory.
