NASHVILLE, Tenn. -

For the third time, Predators captain Shea Weber came up short in votes for the Norris Trophy in Las Vegas.

The award, which is given to the league’s best all-around defenseman, went to Duncan Keith of the Chicago Blackhawks.

Keith led all defensemen in assists and finished second in total points.

Weber led all defensemen in goals with 23 and led the Predators with 56 points. Boston’s Zdeno Chara was the other finalist for the award.

Weber was a finalist for the Norris Trophy in 2011 and 2012.
