NASHVILLE, Tenn. -

Season 19 of ABC’s "The Bachelor" is in the works and producers are hoping Nashville-area residents are the right fit for the show.

A casting call for the hit reality shows "The Bachelor" and "The Bachelorette" was held at Honky Tonk Central in downtown Nashville Thursday night from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Around 200 men and women filled out application forms, had their pictures taken and were interviewed by casting producers.

Jessie, a Clarksville resident, said all her friends are married or dating. So, she thought she would try out for the show.

“I’m looking for an experience to meet friends, travel the world, and maybe fall in love,” Jessie said. “That would be great.”

Casting calls are being held in about 20 cities across the country.
