It happened on June 13 at the Academy Sports located at 2350 Gallatin Pike around 9:30 p.m.

According to police, a man picked up a can of pepper spray that was for sale inside the store while he and the three others grabbed several bags and began stuffing them with clothing and shoes.

The suspects fled the scene in a newer model black Ford Mustang with a gold stripe on the side and bottom.

Talley faces assault and theft charges, while Butler is wanted for theft.

Talley has previous theft and assault convictions.
