NASHVILLE, Tenn. - A teen was arrested in connection to the death of a 40-year-old man found in his west Nashville home last week.

Cody Hargus, 17, is accused of shooting and killing his uncle, Amkha Vetvong, on June 12 inside his home in the 700 block of Ries Avenue.

Authorities arrested Hargus and charged him with first degree murder.

Vetvong's sister-in-law, Sherry Hargus, discovered his body Thursday morning when she stopped by to mow the grass.

His body was located in the living room of the house near the front entrance.

Family members say Vetvong was a kind man who kept to himself.
