MONT BELVIEU, Tx. -

A seven-year-old cancer survivor is offering advice to NFL offensive tackle David Quessenberry who announced earlier this week he is battling cancer.

In a 30 second video, which has since been posted on YouTube, Jake Daniel offers five tips to Quessenberry to help him in his fight with cancer.

The tips were simple and included praying, keeping your head up, never giving up, eating Jello for mouth sores and lastly, flirting with the nurses.

Daniel ended the video by saying, “Good luck, buddy! I’m going to be praying for you.”

Daniel went into remission in May after being diagnosed with cancer last year, ABC News reported.

Quessenberry took to his Twitter account on June 10 announcing his diagnosis. “I have been diagnosed with cancer. My fight has just begun. As long as I have breath in my lungs I will fight this disease, and I will win.”

The 23-year-old player also added a note to Daniel thanking the young football fan for the video, writing, “Jake you just made my day my friend. Wise words young stud can't wait to meet you!”
