A 31-year-old man was arrested Wednesday night, nearly six months after a deadly three-vehicle crash on Edmondson Pike.

The accident involving Kam Za Cin occurred on the morning of December 20, killing his passenger Thang Ching, 31, and injuring five others.

Authorities previously said Cin was traveling on Edmondson Pike where he failed to yield as he initiated a left turn toward Whispering Hills Drive.

Cin’s 2004 Sentra collided with a mini-van that then struck a Volkswagen.

Cin and his three passengers were all transported to Vanderbilt University Medical Center where Ching died.

The mini-van’s driver and two passengers also sustained injuries.

Cin, who was taken into custody at his workplace, is charged with one count of vehicular homicide, one count of reckless endangerment with a motor vehicle and five counts of aggravated assault.

He remains jailed in lieu of a $100,000 bond.
