Woman poses nude with 4-year-old daughter, gets $250,000 bond

Posted: Updated:
A $250 offer escalated into a $250,000 bond when 23-year-old Brittany Ann Oliver of North Charleston confessed to police about the kinds of pictures she's taken with her 4-year-old daughter.

Wednesday the victim's step-aunt told News 2, "I want to kill her to be honest, because she's dumb. That's her only daughter. You hurt your own daughter like that so you'll hurt anybody like that, that's why I told the judge yesterday she was a danger to society and a danger to other kids," Tiffany Luck said.

In bond court Tuesday, Oliver denied sending the sexually explicit photos to anyone, even though she already confessed to taking them.

"I promise they didn't get sent," Oliver said crying.

Police said they were informed about the incident by Oliver herself. She filed a police report after allegedly meeting a woman online through the app "Kik" and claims the woman asked for obscene pictures of Oliver with her 4-year-old.

She began by telling police the woman kidnapped her and her daughter and forced the poses on them. When police served her with a warrant she finally confessed to taking the pictures herself but deleting them.

Police haven't confirmed the other woman's identity and the little girl is in DSS care.

"Right now I'm moving so I can try to get my niece out of DSS custody," Luck said. "the only concern to me is the child."

In court, the main concern Oliver continued to express was that the judge grant her a personal recognizance bond because she couldn't afford anything else.

That request was denied.

The judge said, "I am disgusted and I feel this whole community, when they see something like this, will feel the same as I do. You are not deserving of a PR bond, you're deserving of a high bond. Your bond is set at $50,000 per charge, $250,000 total."

She'll stay behind bars for $250,000 bond, her next court date is in September.
