Gregory Hodge will spend 22 years behind bars for a 2012 rape of a 23-year-old woman.
NASHVILLE, Tenn. -
A Nashville teen convicted of raping a woman in 2012 has been sentenced to 22 years in prison.
Gregory Hodge had a sentencing hearing last month where he pleaded guilty to aggravated rape, aggravated burglary, aggravated robbery, and employing a firearm during the commission of a dangerous felony.
Police said Hodge, who was 17 at the time of the crime, broke into a home on Booker Street just after 11 a.m. and raped a 23-year-old woman inside.
He then stole cash and other items before taking off on foot and running to a getaway car nearby.
Hodge turned himself in to police later that night at the Juvenile Justice Center.
Since he was a juvenile at the time of the attack, he was later transferred to adult court.
Hodge will have to serve 100 percent of his sentence.
