NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Sunday night was the final night for the four-day CMA Music Festival being held in downtown Nashville, concluding a long weekend of musical surprises and bad weather.

Big names in the world of country hit the stage at LP Field, including legend Charlie Daniels, Lady Antebellum, Hunter Hayes, Thomas Rhett and Brad Paisley.

News 2 learned that over the course of the festival, as of 6 p.m. Sunday, Vanderbilt University's event medicine team transported a total of 16 people to the hospital and treated more than 500 at the festival. While most suffered heat-related issues, they said some people also suffered falls or ankle injuries.
