NASHVILLE, Tenn. - A large crowd showed up for the second day of the 43rd Annual CMA Music Festival Friday at Riverfront Park in downtown Nashville.

Daily concerts at the Chevrolet Riverfront Stage begin at 10 a.m. every day through Sunday and are free. Gates open at 9 a.m. daily.

Friday night's performances included Travis Tritt, Miranda Lambert, Blake Shelton, The Band Perry, Eric Church and Jason Aldean.

Nightly LP Field shows are sold out but tickets are still available to Fan Fair X where country music lovers can attend live performances, autographs signings and much more.

Fan Fair X, held at the new Music City Center, is open Thursday through Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The CMA Music Festival, formerly known as Fan Fair, started small in 1972 with only 5,000 attendees. It has since exploded into a major annual event in Nashville, attracting people from across the globe. Artists perform for free.
