NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Country singer Darius Rucker hosted his fifth annual concert in Nashville benefiting St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital Monday night.

The sold-out show, “Darius and Friends,” was held at the Wildhorse Saloon in downtown and featured performances by Clint Black, the Eli Young Band, David Nail, Kenny Rogers and Thompson Square, among others.

All proceeds raised go directly to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Memphis.

"It's a great cause. I hope that Darius is happy with the event and I am going to do what I can to make it work," Rogers said.

Rucker is also hosting his annual “Darius and Friends Celebrity Golf Tournament,” which benefits the children’s hospital, on Tuesday. Randy Houser, Charles Kelley, Dustin Lync and others will participate in the tournament.

Since its inception, "Darius and Friends" has raised more than $225,000 for St. Jude.

"This is one of my favorite events every year and I'm so glad we're able to support St. Jude for the fifth year in a row," said Rucker. "St. Jude does such amazing work for young cancer patients and their families, and I'm grateful to all my fellow artists and friends for coming together to have some fun and support such a great cause."

Rucker is currently on the road headlining his True Believers tour.
