5 injured in head-on crash in Clarksville

CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. -

Five people were injured in a head-on collision Monday afternoon on Fort Campbell Boulevard in Clarksville.

The crash occurred around 12:40 p.m. at Park Lane in front of Club Magic.

Clarksville police said the driver of a green Chevrolet Camaro traveling southbound swerved into the northbound lanes and struck a white Chevrolet Malibu head-on.

A Honda SUV, also traveling northbound, swerved to avoid the Camaro, crashed and lost its mirror.

Five people in all were injured.

One lane on each side of the road was closed while crews cleared the scene.
