7 safe after Madison home riddled with nearly 30 bullets

NASHVILLE, Tenn. - For the second time since December, a Madison home was the target of gunfire early Thursday morning.

Neighbors called police after hearing the shooting around 4 a.m. in the 200 block of Manzano Road.

Officers on the scene told News 2 as many as 30 bullets struck the home, some of which went completely through the house, entering in the front and exiting the back.

Police also said it appears as though shots were fired into both the front and back of the house.

Seven people were inside at the time of the shooting, including two small children.

No injuries were reported.

One bullet struck a water line, leading the fire department to turn the water off.

The shooting remains under investigation.
