BRENTWOOD, Tenn. - Volunteers will be launching a five-day search starting Wednesday for a Brentwood woman who went missing while hiking in the Appalachian Trail in Maine last summer.

Geraldine Largay was last seen by her husband who dropped her off in the area on July 21, 2013.

Approximately 20 hikers from across the country will be coming to help take part in the search.

The search is reportedly an uncertified operation being launched by the Appalachian Long Distance Hiker’s Association, according BrentwoodHomePage.com.

There are additional searches planned for Largay later this summer.
